It’s hard to believe that Fall is almost here! We are looking forward to cooler weather, pumpkins and all of the great holidays that are just around the corner. Here in Virginia, now is a great time to begin planting your Fall garden. Here are some plants that are perfect to sow at this time of the year:
- Beet
- Broccoli
- Cabbage
- Carrot
- Cauliflower
- Lettuce
- Radish
- Spinach
These plants can often survive the harsh Winter and will produce a bountiful harvest. Keep in mind that the first frost in Central Virginia typically falls around November 1-10, so planting soon is important!
